ISSUE
Microsoft Outlook for Mac users might notice that the Detect Language Automatically feature is not functioning as expected when composing an email.Â

The Outlook Team is investigating this issue for a fix. We will update this topic as soon as we have more information.
WORKAROUND

Select the text in the email body/composing window.

Go to the Edit menu at the top of the screen.

Select Spelling and Grammar > Language > Language.

Choose your preferred language (for example, German or French).
